About Me
David E. Cope
I was raised in a small town on Lake Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho where I learned to hunt and fish at a very early age. After high school graduation I served in the Army Security Agency which gave me the skills to be recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency where I served for some 27 years. Upon retirement, Ginny and I moved to Ocean Park, Washington where I started Upper Left Coast Photography and developed a special interest in lighthouses. After five years of rain, Ginny and I moved back to Idaho. During the 1990’s and 2000’s Ginny and I did contract work for the CIA and continued to travel domestically and internationally. Dave retired a second time in 2010.
In addition to the interest in lighthouses, I love to photograph birds, flowers and wildlife. I now reside in Boise and also have property on the St. Joe River.
